Chris Lines
PR and Communications Manager
Chris joined City in September 2014 as Publications Officer, a role that included editorship of the University’s alumni magazine and prospectuses. He was appointed as a Senior Communications Officer in February 2019, and PR and Communications Manager in early 2023.
Chris is an alumnus of the University (Periodical Journalism, 2003) and subsequently spent 11 years as a journalist. He was editor of trade magazines including Host City and Gambling Insider as well as the consumer title Gambling Online Magazine. He has also freelanced as a football feature writer for Champions and When Saturday Comes.
