Terms and Conditions

  1. Application Deadline: All applications must be received by the closing dates (if specified). Late submissions will not be considered.
  2. Non-Transferable: Scholarships are non-transferable across MSc programmes or academic years.
  3. Accepting and securing scholarship: the Women in Finance Excellence Scholarship must be accepted within two weeks of the date of the award. Recipients of all Women in Finance Scholarships must have paid their deposit (or must pay their deposit by their deposit deadline, if the deadline falls after the date of scholarship award).
  4. Conditional on Registration: Scholarship funds will only be disbursed after successful registration on the programme they were awarded for, and will be credited to the second instalment of tuition fees.
  5. Deferrals: Scholarship cannot be deferred to a later academic year.
  6. One Scholarship Per Student: Applicants cannot combine this with another university-funded scholarship or scheme e.g. Alumni Discount (External scholarships are allowed, but the combined amount of the university scholarship and the external scholarship cannot exceed the value of tuition fees).
  7. Withdrawal: If a student withdraws from the programme, the scholarship will be revoked, and repayment of disbursed funds may be required.
  8. Conditional offers: If a scholarship is awarded to a candidate holding a conditional offer, the scholarship itself will also be subject to the candidate successfully meeting the conditions of their offer.
  9. Use of Image/Testimonial: By accepting the scholarship, recipients agree to participate in promotional activities, including testimonials, interviews, and events (optional but encouraged).
  10. Decisions Are Final: All decisions made by the scholarship committee are final and not subject to appeal.
