Bayes Evening Executive MBA Class of 2027
The Evening Executive MBA Class of 2027 at Bayes Business School brings together a diverse cohort of experienced professionals from a range of industries. This blog highlights how the programme’s collaborative environment, global outlook and strong leadership focus help students expand their careers, networks and impact.
The Evening Executive MBA Class of 2027 brings together a diverse group of experienced professionals studying at Bayes Business School in the heart of the City of London. Based at our Finsbury Square teaching centre, the programme is designed for those working across London who join us in person after the working day, just moments from many of the capital’s key business districts.
Reflecting London’s status as a global hub, the cohort represents a dynamic mix of nationalities, industries and leadership experiences. From established executives to founders and rising specialists, the Class of 2027 contributes to the collaborative and experience-led learning environment that defines the EMBA.
Each year we aim to curate a group that reflects diversity in every sense: professional, cultural, industry-based and personal. This ensures students benefit not only from world-class teaching but also from the insight, curiosity and lived experience of their peers. The Class of 2027 is no exception, with individuals joining from organisations of all sizes, from global corporations to entrepreneurial ventures and mission-driven sectors.
We are also proud to continue welcoming strong applications from women, supported by the ongoing work of the Bayes Women’s Leadership Programme.
An exceptionally varied cohort
Students in the EMBA Class of 2027 bring a rich blend of senior experience and emerging leadership talent. Their backgrounds span multiple areas of business and public life, offering a valuable balance of analytical, strategic and creative strengths.
Many students join with years, often decades, of experience in fields such as:
- Operations
- Management
- Engineering
- Financial services
- Consultancy
- Entrepreneurship
- Technology
- Public sector leadership.
Outside of work, the cohort is just as diverse, with interests ranging from sport, travel and music to volunteering, writing and community engagement. This depth and variety of experience significantly enhance the EMBA’s immersive learning environment.

Why did you choose to do an Executive MBA?
I’m at a major career pivot and looking for the education and resources to accelerate that change. After a decade as an entrepreneur, my goal is to gain deeper insight and a structured approach to help me transition into venture capital. The evening format allows me to pursue full-time and side projects alongside my degree while applying course learnings directly in real time.
Why Bayes?
Bayes stood out because of the genuine interactions I had with the team and faculty. Where other schools felt focused on mass recruitment, Bayes offered personalised conversations and meaningful feedback. This reflected an educational philosophy centred on student growth, something I’ve already experienced since joining.
The financial and entrepreneurial network at Bayes is exceptional. Within weeks, I connected with the Bayes Entrepreneurship Fund, attended startup demo nights and joined the Venture Capital Competition team.
What are you most looking forward to?
I’m especially excited for second-year electives. With a clear career direction, I can customise my studies and graduate with a concentration. The international electives, such as the innovation-focused South Korea trip or the Silicon Valley startup immersion, also look incredible.
Why London?
London was an easy choice. It’s a global centre for venture capital and finance, and Bayes is uniquely positioned at the heart of it.
Anna Enuo Zhang

Nationality: Chinese
Current role: Associate Structural Engineer, AtkinsRéalis
Why did you choose to do an Executive MBA?
I wanted to broaden my leadership and management capabilities and complement my technical background as a chartered structural engineer. I aim to bring more strategic and commercial insight to engineering projects and contribute meaningfully to organisational growth. Lifelong learning is important to me, and the MBA offers an opportunity to expand my horizons and challenge myself.
Why Bayes?
Bayes’ strong reputation, flexible structure and diverse cohort were key factors. The focus on leadership, innovation and practical business skills aligns perfectly with my goal of applying business knowledge to engineering. The supportive learning environment and global alumni network were equally important.
What are you most looking forward to?
I’m excited to collaborate with classmates from a wide range of industries, take part in case-based learning and workshops, and deepen my understanding of leadership and change management. I’m also looking forward to contributing to the Bayes community.
What do you hope to gain from the programme?
I hope to develop practical business and leadership skills that I can apply immediately in my engineering role. I want to strengthen my understanding of strategy, finance and management, take on greater responsibility and drive positive change within AtkinsRéalis. I’m particularly interested in modules with an economics focus.
Why London?
Living in London makes evening study highly accessible, allowing me to balance full-time work with learning. The city’s professional vibrancy and access to leading organisations enrich the EMBA experience.
What do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy travelling, spending time with loved ones, running with music and reading widely across different topics.
A cohort ready to lead
The Evening Executive MBA Class of 2027 represents a community of ambitious, purpose-driven professionals ready to broaden their impact. Over the two years of their programme, they will deepen their leadership capabilities, expand their global perspectives and build lifelong networks, strengthening not only their own careers but the organisations and communities they serve.
