Prepare to progress

Our Executive MBA is especially suitable if you’re looking to progress in seniority, enhance your strategic leadership skills or prepare for c-suite level roles.

The programme runs on a part-time basis, in two flexible formats:

  • The Evening Executive MBA is taught two evenings a week (Tuesday and Thursday), in person, on campus in London.
  • The Modular Executive MBA is taught over one long weekend every month in a blended format (Friday to Sunday on campus in London plus some online learning)
  • Please note, we still have a limited number of places available for the March intake of our Modular Executive MBA starting on 14 March 2025.

If you have your funding in place and can submit a competitive application in the coming weeks, we can fast track your application. For further information, please contact Balbir Guru at Balbir.guru@city.ac.uk

Both formats follow the same curriculum and allow you to tailor the programme to your own interests and aspirations. Consider your schedule, location and preferred learning style: will you prefer the frequency of twice-weekly evening classes or learning across one long weekend every month?

During the Evening Executive MBA, you'll get to meet your cohort and study group twice a week; during the Modular Executive MBA you'll see them once a month,  and some time together online.

What our alumni say

Read for yourself what our alumni have to say about the Executive MBA, and the impact it had on them and their career.

"I've had absolutely rapid career growth. I joined a new company just months after starting the programme, and really got my foot in the door through the fact that I was doing an MBA. I was promoted in that job and then moved to where I am now, again mostly off the back of the MBA. So I’ve been through a big period of career growth in a very short space of time built around the programme.”

– Ed Vaughan Dixon, Evening Executive MBA, 2017. Head of ESG: Real Assets, Aviva Investors, London. Nationality: British.

“I chose the Modular Executive MBA as it facilitated study around my full-time job, and I found the diversity of the cohort and the practical focus of the programme particularly appealing.”

- Aliasgar Inayathusein, Modular Executive MBA, 2017. National Director of Future Transport, Veitch Lister Consulting, Melbourne, Australia. Nationality: British
