Mr Andreas Lyberopoulos

Andreas Lyberopoulos is the Chief Financial Officer of A.M. Nomikos, a shipping company with a principal focus on Dry Bulk Shipping operating out of two offices in Athens and London, offering vessel, commercial and corporate management for own and third party vessels. Andreas holds his first degree from Athens University of Economics and Business and a MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from City University Business School (’96).

His 26 year career in shipping is equally split between banking and ship management, having worked for Banque Cantonale Vaudoise, DVB Bank and HSH Nordbank before moving to AM Nomikos and the ship management side. During these past 26 years he has experienced the cyclicality of shipping from both sides of the spectrum (debt and equity) and has been involved in restructurings, rescue and warehousing operations as well as start-up and joint ventures initiatives with great success. He is married with two children and is an avid runner and mountaineer.
