Mr Jason Dallas, Partner, Ship Finance Solutions
Jason has more than 25 years of experience in shipping finance. He entered shipping in 1996 as a trainee chartering ship-broker in London, while from 1998 to 2001 he worked for a small ship-management business in Greece. He started working for Piraeus Bank in 2002 and -further to managing a portfolio of up to $2.6bn- was a key person to the successful integration of shipping loans from 3 different banks into a single portfolio US$4bn.
Prior to his departure from Piraeus Bank, he held the position of Head of Shipping for the bank’s core shipping portfolio. In 2017 he became a founding partner of Ship Finance SolutionsLtd, a ship finance advisory firm that has advised ship-owners and financial institutions, on transactions with a total size of several USDbn. He is also an investor in two ship finance-related startups. Jason holds a BSc in Industrial Design from Brunel University, London, UK and an MSc in Shipping, Trade and Finance from Bayes Business School, City University London, UK.
