He is currently, and since 2012 the CEO of SEB's subsidiary in Ukraine (SEB Ukraine), being based in Kyiv since 2008. H
e joined the Swedish banking group SEB in 1994, and have since held various positions in Stockholm, Frankfurt, Oslo and Kyiv. Prior to transferring to Kyiv he was within Structured Finance and Head of the SEB Export & Project Finance team in Frankfurt. He started out his career as an Officer in the Merchant Marine and in the Royal Swedish Navy. This included 7 years as an Officer aboard various types of merchant vessels sailing for Wallenius Lines, Transatlantic Shipping Company, and the Lindblad's Special Expeditions. He holds a B.Sc in Nautical Science from Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg (1985), and a M.Sc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from City University in London (1994).
