Mr Laurent Bozzoni, Chief Executive Officer, Socatra Group
Laurent Bozzoni (50) studied at university of Bordeaux where he graduated in Finance & Economics and in Political Sciences, and later graduated in Shipping, Trade & Finance in 1999 (intake 1998) at City university - London.
After a stay with french shipbrokers barry rogliano salles in Paris, he joined general maritime corporation as a consultant in New-York to assist the Chief Financial Officer during the initial public offering of the company.
In 2001, he joined Socatra, his Bordeaux - based family controlled shipping group, where he was responsible for finance, projects, and business development. He has been the CEO of the group since 2021.
