Niklas is heading Arctic Securities’ first continental European branch in Hamburg, Germany which he has set up in 2020. Prior to joining Arctic, Niklas headed the Greek and Western European shipping desk at Berenberg maintaining relationships with more than 150 clients. During the past 11 years Niklas worked on several private and capital market transactions for shipping clients, most notably the USD 125 million unsecured bond issue for Diana Shipping, the acquisition and takeover of more than USD 1 billion in secondary shipping loans and the IPO of Hapag Lloyd.
