About
Overview
Amit currently works as a Lecturer in Management at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). He currently leads a range of research methods, life coaching and entrepreneurship related modules.
Prior to working at Bayes Business School, Amit was the Course Director for the MSc Management and the acting Course Director for the MSc Enterprise and Innovation at Coventry University London. Amit has also held a teaching position at Brunel Business School. Before working in academia Amit worked as a Business Analyst, Marketing Assistant and Research Assistant. He has worked within the public and private sector.
Amit holds a PhD in Management and a MSc in International Business from Brunel University London as well as a BSc in Psychology from Aston University. His research focusses on learning from entrepreneurial failure. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and accredited Life Coach from The Coaching Academy. Amit has experience of embedding life coaching within higher education as well as delivering exceptional teaching to a range of students. He has won awards for using innovative teaching and assessment methods as well as compassion shown to his students.
Outside of academia, Amit is the founder of the motivational speaker and life coaching service, 1TakeMotivation. Amit's aim in life is to help people become more employable, learn how to embrace failure effectively, and develop their entrepreneurial skill-set.
