Overview
Dr Elisabetta Pellini is a Senior Lecturer in Data Science and Co-Director of the Foundation Year. She also coordinates all training activities and seminars for the Centre for Econometric Analysis (CEA). Dr Pellini has over 10 years of experience teaching quantitative methods, econometrics, and statistics to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.
Since 2017, Dr Pellini has collaborated as a training associate with the consulting company TStat (Italy). Previously, she served as a visiting lecturer in Quantitative Methods and Econometrics at Bayes Business School from 2016 to 2021. From 2015 to 2020, she worked as a training associate for Timberlake Consultants (UK).
Her earlier academic roles include working as an associate lecturer, from 2013 to 2014, and as a graduate teaching assistant, from 2010 to 2013, at the School of Economics, Surrey University. In 2012, Dr Pellini contributed as a research officer to a project sponsored by Enel Energia S.p.A. (Rome, Italy) and Bergamo University (Italy). She also gained industry experience from 2007 to 2009 while working with the company Lovable Italy and the energy consulting firm REF-E in Milan (Italy).
Dr Pellini serves as a referee for Energy Economics and the International Review of Financial Analysis. Her research focuses on the econometrics of energy markets and energy and climate policy.
