Overview
Dr. Narges Mohammadi is an Assistant Professor of Analytics in the Operations and Supply Chain Management Group at Bayes Business School, City St George’s, University of London. She received her PhD in Analytics and Operations from Imperial Business School and holds both BSc and MSc degrees in Industrial Engineering from Sharif University of Technology.
Her research lies at the intersection of sequential decision-making, data-driven optimization, and analytics. Methodologically, she develops and applies tools such as Markov Decision Processes (MDPs), Partially Observable Markov Decision Processes (POMDPs), microsimulation, machine learning, and data-driven optimization to address complex decision-making problems under uncertainty.
Her application areas include healthcare operations, medical decision-making, and public health policy. Through her research, she aims to develop interpretable and implementable decision-support tools that improve resource allocation, enhance patient outcomes, and inform evidence-based policymaking.
