About
Overview
Philippe Blaettchen is an Assistant Professor in Management Analytics at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass). Philippe's research is driven by emerging technologies and sustainability considerations. In particular, he studies how to design technology-driven business models to better balance profitability against social and environmental sustainability objectives. His work has been published in leading journals such as Management Science and Manufacturing & Service Operations Management.
At Bayes, Philippe teaches in the M.Sc. in Business Analytics. In particular, he leads the modules "Digital Technologies and Value Creation" and "Applied Deep Learning."
Before starting at Bayes, Philippe completed his Ph.D. at INSEAD in Technology & Operations Management. Prior to the Ph.D., he earned his B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany, as well as his M.Sc., also in Industrial Engineering, from KIT and Linköping University, Sweden (dual degree).
