Bayes announces new honorary academics

Bayes has appointed respected figures to honorary visiting roles

Bayes Business School has appointed or reappointed 16 honorary visiting professors, senior fellows and fellows for the next three years.

Dr Ioannis C. Moutzouris, who chairs the Honorary Visiting Appointments Committee as Associate Dean for Engagement, said the appointments announced today underline the School’s ambition to build lasting partnerships around the City of London, surrounding boroughs and further afield.

He said: “This is great news for our students as they can tap into the expertise of this truly impressive and diverse group of professionals and academics. I am sure my colleagues will also be looking forward to meeting and working with them. We are proud of our work with a range of City institutions, public sector bodies and other organisations around the UK and the globe. It enriches the experience of our students.

“At Bayes, we take immense pride in our network of over 100 Honorary Visiting Appointees (HVAs), each bringing unparalleled expertise from across the global business spectrum. Their contributions are integral to every facet of our school, propelling Bayes towards its ambitious vision while upholding our core values. They will be splendid ambassadors for the School and contribute to debate and learning within our community.”

Honorary Visiting Appointments are conferred on people of distinction who can demonstrably add value to Bayes’ work as a leading global business school. Appointments are offered to people who have an ongoing or prospective engagement with Bayes through education, research or the wider School community.

Last month the School hosted a drinks reception for current HVAs which ensured they were able to meet academics and each other.
