Dr Daniela Cristian, Assistant Professor of Marketing at Bayes Business School has been honoured by Poets & Quants in its World’s Best 40-under-40 Graduate Business Professors of 2026.
The 14th annual edition recognises the most talented academics under the age of 40 from around the world for their teaching and research prowess. The publication profiles 40 leading global faculty who shape the next generation of business talent.

Faculty featured on this year’s list represent 38 business schools worldwide, with just 14 institutions located outside the United States and only three in the UK. The selection is based on more than 1,700 nominations submitted by students, colleagues, administrators and professors themselves.
Dr Cristian’s research focuses on consumer decision-making, an area in which she has been consistently recognised for her immersive teaching methods.
Dr Cristian said:
“Being a professor in a leading business school is a privilege. I’m grateful for the outstanding research environment provided by Bayes Business School and for its brilliant and diverse student community.
“Immersive learning is essential for graduate and executive students, as is enabling them to translate theory into practice for future employers or starting their own businesses.
“In my classes, using business simulations that empower students to make decisions on pricing, branding, sales, and innovation has a lasting impact beyond graduation and gives students far more than textbook knowledge alone.”
Commenting on Dr Cristian’s recognition, Professor André Spicer, Executive Dean of Bayes Business School, said:
“We work hard at Bayes to create a learning and research environment that shapes leaders of the future, and the business challenges they will encounter.
“Daniela’s lively classes are a perfect exemplar of this, particularly her MSc module which consistently ranks among our highest for student evaluation.
“Achieving global recognition of this scale is an outstanding achievement, and my congratulations and thanks go to Daniela and to all colleagues at Bayes who work tirelessly to provide students with such an inspiring education.”
Kristy Bleizeffer, Rankings Editor at Poets & Quants, said:
