Several scholarships for CCE's Charities master's programmes are available. Please see the details below:
Aziz Foundation scholarships for British Muslim students
We are delighted that scholarships from the Aziz Foundation are available for British Muslim students for full fee funding for any of the the two-year part-time Charities Master’s. Apply directly to the Aziz Foundation once you have an offer for any of the five MSc courses.
Scholarship applications for students starting in October 2025 will open in Janaury 2025.
Eastside Primetimers Foundation Scholarships
We are delighted that the 50% funding of the course fees over the two-year part-time Master’s for two applicants for either the Charity Accounting and Finance, Charity Marketing and Fundraising, NGO Management and Voluntary Sector Management courses in the Charities programme is continuing.
Applicants need to have accepted an offer of a place on one of the above courses and will be considered on the basis of the scholarship application form.
Selection will be on the basis of academic/financial reasons, career plans/capacity-building in the UK sector and focussed on underrepresented groups.
The deadline: 24 July 2025, with confirmation of funding by early August.
Nick Maughan Foundation scholarship
Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) is delighted that The Nick Maughan Foundation wishes to provide financial support to students on MSc Investment Management and MSc Philanthropy, Grantmaking and Social Investment.
Value: One scholarship on each course, each worth £10,000
There are no geographical requirements for this scholarship. Applicants need to demonstrate financial need, and academic excellence.
Applicants need to have accepted an offer of a place on the course and will be consider on the basis of the online application form.
The deadline: 24 July 2025, with confirmation of funding by early August.

Career progression by students and alumni to senior positions across the nonprofit sector is impressive, as is our commitment to the highest standards of teaching quality and pastoral support, ensuring that over 95% of starters complete the programme.
The Bayes learning experience
The two-year, part-time structure of our charities master's allows students the flexibility of choosing the level of their qualification (Postgraduate Diploma or MSc), and whether they want to cover one subject in depth through a dissertation or a further specialist area (through teaching), to complete the full Master's.
All the charities master's courses require attendance once a month for teaching. Teaching usually commences at 13:00 on a Friday afternoon and finishes at 18:00 on a Saturday at Bayes Business School. Students should allow at least ten hours per week of non-taught, personal study in their own time.
Students are also required to commit to additional time for the induction programme, action learning sets and exams.

Entry requirements
The Charities Master's programme is aimed at applicants who hold a first degree and three of more years work experience in a similar role and/or related professional qualification. Exact requirements may differ depending upon which of the five courses you choose to study.

Accreditation
The Charities Master's courses were accredited by the Nonprofit Academic Centers Council (NACC) in January 2019 as the only programme in Europe to be included in the first group reviewed. NACC Accreditation fosters third sector academic programmes worldwide, including nonprofit and non-governmental studies and management, social entrepreneurship, social-purpose organisations leadership, and philanthropy studies and management, all with curricula that places the civil sector at the centre of the curricular perspective.
