Director of academic research
Jay Heon Jung is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at Bayes Business School, City, University of London. Dr Jay Jung's research focuses on financial analysts and capital markets. His work has been published in top peer reviewed journals such as Journal of Accounting and Economics and featured in prestigious news outlets such as Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, Capital, and Le Monde across USA, UK, Europe, and Asia.”

Tan Do joined the Faculty of Finance at Bayes Business School as a Lecturer in Accounting in 2022. His research interests include corporate governance, disclosure and M&As.

Qiaoye Yu
Qiaoye’s research interests cover areas in sustainability and disclosure. Qiaoye served as a postdoctoral research fellow at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. She received her PhD from the University of Warwick.
Arthur previously served on the accounting faculty of the University of Rochester and the London Business School.
Sonia Konstantinidi joined The Business School in 2011 as an Assistant Professor in Accounting as part of the Accounting Group. Prior to that, she worked as an Early Stage Researcher of the INTACCT Research and Training Network 2007-2009.
Andrew served on the accounting faculty of Tilburg University in the Netherlands and several universities in Hong Kong.
Ivana joined The Business School in 2004. Before joining The Business School, she has previously worked at the University of Siena and, before that, for PriceWaterhouseCoopers.
Ga-Young Choi joined the Faculty of Finance at Bayes Business School in 2022. Her research interests primarily lie in disclosure, information intermediaries, and taxation.
PhD students
Before joining Bayes Business School, she achieved a BSc in Accounting from Beijing Institute of Technology, China and MSc in Accounting from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA. As a PhD student, Zan works under the supervision of Prof Pawel Bilinski and Dr Jay Jung. Her research interests include textual analysis, financial analysts, capital markets, and empirical corporate finance.
Chun Qi
Before joining Bayes, Chun worked in real estate industries for 6 years and completed her MPhil degree in Hong Kong. Chun is interested in accounting labor market research. Chun works under the supervision of Prof Pawel Bilinski, Dr Andrew Yim, and Dr Tan Do.
Richard's research interests are in disclosure relating to artificial intelligence, intangibles and the intersection between accounting and product markets. Before joining Bayes, Richard had a 30-year career spanning roles in strategy, innovation, and management consulting to senior director positions for companies such as KPMG, Vodafone, O2/Telefonica, and NTT DATA.”
