Where creative thinking meets real-world impact
Alongside our partnerships with organisations and individuals around the world, we collaborate closely with colleagues across City St George’s, most notably the Institute for Creativity and AI (ICAI). Together we are building a global community of creative thinkers and practitioners working to lead positive change and develop new tools and approaches that put creativity into practice. One example is INSIGHTS, a service developed by ICAI and funded by City St George’s and UK Research England, which helps organisations uncover novel policy, business, and design opportunities hidden within their own information assets.
For over a decade, the Centre for Creativity in Professional Practice has partnered with organisations across sectors to unlock creative potential at every level, from individuals to boardrooms. We bring together academic rigour and hands-on practice to deliver lasting change.

Research and Innovation Partnerships
We work with organisations on collaborations that generate new knowledge alongside practical impact. Partnerships can be funded through bodies including Innovate UK, Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs), Arts Council England, and Research England.
Creative Leadership and Business Resilience Consulting
We partner with organisations to develop the creative leaders they need for today’s complex environment. Our consulting work builds resilience, sharpens problem-solving, and applies thinking in ways that make a measurable difference. Engagements can be short-term interventions using ready-to-apply solutions, or profound new collaborations that transform the nature of creative leadership within your organisation.
Critical Thinking and Creative Problem-Solving Training
Practical training programmes that equip people with new tools for thinking differently. Sessions can be delivered as standalone interventions or embedded into ongoing development; leaving teams with skills and approaches they use every day.
Workshops and Facilitation
Custom-designed creativity workshops that bring together diverse teams to tackle your most pressing strategic challenges. Our facilitated sessions use proven techniques to generate, test, and refine bold ideas. Past workshops have ranged from creative problem-solving for board members to multi-day cross-disciplinary innovation intensives.
