World Creativity and Innovation Day

Each year, the Centre marks World Creativity and Innovation Day with an event that brings together our community to celebrate the power of creative thinking. Drawing on the Centre’s research and network, these events use hands-on creative processes and interdisciplinary collaboration to explore some of the most pressing challenges we face, inspiring fresh ideas and new approaches to making a positive impact in the world.

Creativity in Education: A Perfect Storm or Time for Change

The Centre hosted a public lecture 'Creativity in Education: A Perfect Storm or Time for Change' by Dr Gerard Puccio, State University of New York Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Centre for Applied Imagination at Buffalo State University, exploring the critical role of creativity in shaping the future of education. He made the case for moving beyond conventional rote learning towards more dynamic, creativity-focused teaching, sharing evidence-based strategies that educators at all levels can use to cultivate creative thinking and problem-solving in the classroom.

Bayes Innovate 2024: Entrepreneurship in the Era of AI

Bayes Innovate is a premier interdisciplinary conference exploring entrepreneurship, innovation, and creative leadership. The 2024 edition focused on the applications of AI across the entrepreneurship space, bringing together more than 175 delegates, entrepreneurs, investors, academics, and decision-makers, for a programme of talks, workshops, and panel discussions on best innovation practice.

The Global WIIN Conference 2022

Global Women Inventors & Innovators Network (GlobalWIIN) Conference, Showcase & Awards Ceremony introduced speakers from around the world to discuss subjects including the pursuit of protection and ownership of intellectual property, non-fungible tokens (NFTs) and the rise of digital assets, the food industry, the growth of women inventors in the Middle East, investing in the next generation of female leadership, and the value and impact of protection in a competitive world.
