Programme overview

This programme focuses on the emerging leadership skills, competencies and knowledge required to thrive in Industry 4.0, driven by AI-based systems.

It explores the leadership implications of AI and Industry 4.0 through the lens of different sectors and will help participants understand the key macroeconomic trends and their potential significance.

The term ‘Fourth industrial revolution’ or ‘Industry 4.0’ captures this rapid, once-in-a-generation change in our industrial economy.

The development and use of AI and several other technologies, such as robotics and automation, not only fuels a new era of productivity, it also creates new experiences for us – as managers, employees, owners and consumers. Our experiences are increasingly personalised and automated using various types of robotic technologies, and where the boundaries between the physical and digital environment are blurred.
