This programme consists of eight modules.
- Module 1: Leadership from the Finance Function - Tuesday 6 October 2026 (In-person)
- Module 2: Developing a coaching approach - Wednesday 4 November 2026 (Online)
- Module 3: Self as Leader – you and your leadership - Wednesday 9 December 2026 (Online)
- Module 4: Leading Change - Thursday 14 January 2027 (Online)
- Module 5: Effective Communication - Thursday 11 February 2027 (Online)
- Module 6: Delivery Through Others - Wednesday 17 March 2027 (Online)
- Module 7: Harnessing the Power of Teams - Tuesday 20 April 2027 (Online)
- Module 8: Influence and Impact - Thursday 20 May 2027 (Online)
The first module will be taking place in person at Bayes Business School. All other modules will be taking place online from 08:15 - 11:15.

This course is for people who have responsibility for leading the management of a charity's finances or contribute to strategic development and planning. The course is for those people who wish to improve the effectiveness of their leadership skills and develop their careers to the next stage.

As part of your programme, you will receive access to a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), which is a designed space for teaching and learning. This will be your programme hub for resources, activities and interactions and communication. Moreover, you will continue to have access to the VLE for an additional three months after the conclusion of your programme. This extended access gives you more time to revise the course content, reflect, and reinforce your knowledge.

Drawing on robust leadership research and grounded in the challenges that finance professionals face, this course creates a unique blend of learning that combines the latest leadership principles with practical advice and support from finance leaders in the sector.
This is an interactive course which uses a mix of practical experience, research and best practice. The modules allow participants to practice proven models and practical techniques in a supportive environment which they can then apply in their own organisations. Discussions will be focused on real situations and issues facing the participants.
