The Centre’s vision is to build a global community of creative thinkers and practitioners who work together to lead positive change. It aims to achieve this by inspiring and enabling new generations of creative leaders who will investigate, generate, envision, prototype, critique and reflect on novel solutions to complex modern challenges, and go on to empower teams and organizations to do the same.

Our Changing World

The Need for Creative Leaders and Innovative Organisations

VUCA is a concept that originated with students at the U.S. Army War College to describe the Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity of the world after the Cold War. This concept has found new relevance in an environment that is increasingly complex, ill-structured, dynamic and chaotic and where a different style of leadership is needed. Traditional management approaches are falling short in responding to the challenges we must address. The need for creativity and innovation to drive positive change can’t be ignored.
